BIT Inspection Technology is a specialized manufacturer of NDT flaw specimens, calibration blocks, validation blocks, and reference specimens for inspection, training, qualification, and equipment validation.
Established in Chennai in 2007, BIT began its journey as an NDT training and certification institute, providing practical training and professional development for NDT personnel. This foundation in NDT education and hands-on inspection gave us a strong understanding of the practical requirements of training, qualification, and real-world inspection.
Over the years, this expertise naturally expanded into the development and manufacturing of NDT specimens and reference products, allowing us to combine our training experience with specialized manufacturing capabilities.
Our products are engineered to customer-specific requirements, covering materials, dimensions, weld configurations, and controlled flaw characteristics.
With capabilities spanning UT, PAUT, Eddy Current, Radiography, Casting, and Forging, we provide both standard and fully customized solutions for critical NDT applications.

ESTABLISHED
BIT Inspection Technology was established in Chennai, providing NDT services, NDT training and certification, along with flaw specimen, calibration block and validation block manufacturing.
2014
SPECIMEN MANUFACTURING
Started dedicated manufacturing of UT and PAUT specimens, calibration blocks and inspection reference specimens, serving the growing requirements of the oil & gas and manufacturing sectors.
2015
CAPABILITY & MANUFACTURING EXPANSION
Expanded into Eddy Current, casting and forging specimens, custom validation blocks, and additional manufacturing capabilities. Manufacturing facilities and equipment were also expanded to support larger and more specialized requirements.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
Delivered major specimen requirements, including a 200-specimen order, and served major customers including A-Star, Wens Dubai, Oil & Gas Industries, ARAMCO and ADNOC.
TODAY
